Primary Conveyor Belt Cleaner

As the 1st stage in a multi-stage cleaning system, the primary cleaner removes more of the material attached to the belt, leaving only a thin layer of sticky powder.

The appropriate pressure of the blade on the belt enables the cleaner to peel off the sticky material from the belt at a suitable fixed angle. Using higher pressure at this angle will cause damage to the belt, belt buckle and cleaner itself.

The primary cleaner is usually installed on the surface of the head drum, below the material flow. The construction and installation of the cleaner should avoid affecting the transportation of materials and prevent the accumulation of materials.
